    1. Good day. If you are referring to training, the NCTVET does not offer training. We offer assessment only services, which means that you can be assessed and certified once you already have the skills and knowledge in a particular field. There are different modes of assessment, e.g., Challenge Test, Prior-Learning Assessment and On-the-Job Assessment. If you need more information please go to the ‘Assessment’ tab here on the website. You call also send us an email at enquiry.nctvet@moey.gov.jm. For training, please visit your nearest HEART office or visit their website for more information.

    1. You may be able to, however, please contact NCLEX Board to find out the process for international students.

    2. In the US, each state has different requirements from international nurse to sit for NCLEN. From what I understand NCTVET is the official licensing body for LPN. As long as the school is accredited by the Ministry of Education and you have a active NCTVET certificate you will be eligible. Some states make it harder to get through than other, New York is very accomadating to international nurses.
